Smart Packaging won the first place in the EIT Food Innovation Prize 2019, demonstrating that the sensor technology has met EIT Food innovation objectives:

1. to overcome low consumer trust;

2. to create consumer valued food for healthier nutrition.

EIT is Europe’s leading food innovation initiative, working to make the food system more sustainable, healthy and trusted by consumers.
